It seems that Motorola has found the strength to compete with market leaders in creating the thinnest device possible. The well-known informant Evan Blass has released a possible teaser of the Motorola Edge 70, whose slogan "what's your edge?" clearly hints at a contrast with the iPhone Air and Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Motorola always pays special attention to the appearance of smartphones, so it is not surprising that it has accepted this edge-challenge.

The device is expected to be extremely thin - less than 7 mm, but the exact specifications are still unknown. The image shows that Motorola has decided to abandon the traditional curved display shape typical of the Edge series and opted for a flat screen, which is in line with current trends. However, this may be due to the extremely thin body - more internal space is needed for rounding.

As for the cameras, we can count on a 50 megapixel main camera and a nominal secondary camera. The smartphone is expected to support TurboPower fast charging, possibly with a capacity of over 125W. As for the processor, sources report two possible configurations: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 or MediaTek Dimensity 9300. The Edge 70 will run on Android 15 with Motorola's proprietary add-ons.

The smartphone is expected to be presented in October 2025. It will be an image device, but the company is planning an aggressive pricing policy - lower than that of competitors from Apple and Samsung. This may make Edge 70 an attractive choice for those looking for a flagship with a sleek design and powerful hardware, but not ready to overpay for the brand.
