Steam has become even more convenient: Valve has simplified site navigation and made the search bar smarter

Valve has finished beta testing the next major Steam update and released it to the public.
The shop is improved on PC, in the mobile app and on Steam Deck.
Here's What We Know
The company has made significant changes to the design and operation of the service to make navigation easier and game search faster and more efficient.
What has changed:
- new design: the menu is now more compact and visually cleaner, with improved category navigation;
- personalisation: content in the menu is now tailored to the user's interests - recommendations, selections and suggestions are now more accurate;
- faster loading and responsiveness of the interface, especially when navigating between sections;
- the search bar has become much smarter and now delivers results even if the user makes a typo or spelling mistake.
Valve emphasises that the aim of the update is to make the shop more intuitive and enjoyable to use.
