Sony and Insomniac Games did not reveal a lot of details about the game, but according to the shown footage we can definitely judge that the developers will offer a brutal and grim action with a lot of bloody scenes and hard episodes.

The release window - autumn 2026 - has also become known.

Insomniac added a few details about Marvel's Wolverine on the PlayStation Blog:

  • Liam McIntyre (Liam McIntyre; Spartacus from the TV series of the same name) will play the lead role;
  • The game will feature several major locations, including the Canadian wilderness, the fictional city of Madripoor, and Tokyo;
  • will feature familiar Marvel characters, including Mystique and Red Omega;
  • it will be the darkest game in Insomniac Games' history;
  • as always, Sony will offer the most flexible accessibility settings possible.

More information about Marvel's Wolverine is promised to be revealed in spring 2026.
