At the State of Play presentation, Sony unveiled the PULSE Elevate, its first desktop wireless speakers designed specifically for gamers. The novelty will complement the line of audio accessories PlayStation, which includes a headset PULSE Elite and TWS-headphones PULSE Explore.

Here's What We Know

Each speaker features studio-grade planar-magnetic drivers that deliver detailed sound across the entire frequency spectrum. Built-in subwoofers boost bass to create rich sound environments, especially for shooters, action and horror games.

The speakers support Tempest's proprietary 3D AudioTech technology, ensuring precise positioning of sounds in games. This enhances immersion and makes the sound as realistic as possible.

PULSE Elevate connects to PS5, PC, Mac and PlayStation Portal handheld console via the PlayStation Link protocol - with minimal latency and no loss of quality. Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones and tablets is also available. A USB-C adapter and charging dock are included.

The right speaker has a built-in microphone with intelligent noise cancellation: it filters out extraneous sounds (mouse clicks, keyboard, conversations), transmitting only clear speech to the chat.

The speakers can be mounted vertically or horizontally. They will be available in black and white colours, with sales starting in 2026. No price has been announced yet.
