Realme is preparing for the October launch of the GT 8 series, and more and more confirmations of the smartphone's characteristics are appearing online. It is claimed that the manufacturer will pay special attention to the performance of the upcoming flagship line, and will be assisted by a flagship processor from Qualcomm and a display with a high refresh rate.

Here's What We Know

The Realme GT 8, like the GT 8 Pro, will have a 2K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its maximum brightness will be 2000 nits, and thanks to Realme Sunlight Display technology, up to 20% of the screen will be able to reach 4000 nits for better visibility in the sun. Usually, this figure in smartphones is no more than 10%.

Realme has added a separate new chip that will be responsible for the increased polling rate of the touch layer at 3200 Hz and support for multi-touch with a polling rate of 360 Hz. According to the company, this will be an important factor for gamers.

The smartphone will run on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. In the AnTuTu test, the Realme GT 8 scored an impressive 3,322,942 points.

In terms of appearance, the smartphone will have a metal frame, glass back panel and rounded corners of the display around the perimeter (R-angle). It is expected to support an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

As for other characteristics, the smartphone will have a large battery. Its exact capacity is unknown, but it is expected to be around 7000 mAh. The smartphone will run on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Nothing is known about the global availability of the line.
