Bungie does not give up: the developer invites gamers to a new stage of closed testing of the shooter Marathon
The Bungie studio announced a new stage of testing for the Extraction shooter Marathon.
Recall that the game was supposed to be released in early September, but after the previous test, most of its mechanics were criticized, so Things are bad with Marathon: Bungie has postponed the release of the scandalous shooter indefinitely and began urgently redesigning Marathon.
What is known
Try the current version of Marathon from October 22 (19-00 CEST) to October 28.
All those wishing to participate in the event must apply by October 17.
So far, this can only be done on the official Bungie website, but on October 13, applications will also be accepted on Steam.
This will be a closed testing, and the developers will invite only players from Europe and North America. As before, participants are prohibited from streaming and sharing any materials about Marathon.
This is an important stage of testing the improvements made after alpha testing. We have improved three maps, five Runners, proxy chat, combat pace, queue, environmental storytelling, and much more. Keep in mind that the game is still in production, so the test build will include only a part of what is planned for the full version of Marathon.
The test version of Marathon will be available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
