The role-playing game The Outer Worlds 2 will be one of Microsoft's major releases in 2025, and to emphasize this, the company announced themed versions of the Xbox Wireless Controller and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, inspired by the visual style of the new title from Obsidian.

What is known

These controllers cannot be ordered separately — Microsoft offers to choose a suitable design only through the Xbox Design Lab service with full personalization.

The gamepads are made in the signature retro-futuristic style of the world of The Outer Worlds with the recognizable mascot Moon Man and glowing patterns of galactic rifts, referring to the world of Arcadia.
