Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order studio have finally announced the release date for the Bridges & Ports expansion for the long-suffering city-building simulator Cities: Skylines II.

What is known

This DLC was supposed to be released more than a year ago, but due to major issues in fixing a huge number of shortcomings in Cities: Skylines II, the developers had to postpone its release twice.

Now the authors have announced: Bridges & Ports will be released on October 29 and will be sold for $20. For this money, gamers will get expanded port management mechanics and maritime infrastructure. The DLC will feature new types of bridges, the ability to customize port areas in detail, coastal recreational facilities, maritime pursuits, and more than a hundred additional buildings and objects.

Additionally, for $5 developers will offer an additional radio station Cold Wave Channel, featuring “atmospheric compositions in the theme of the expansion”. The music DLC will be included in the Bridges & Ports Bundle, the Waterfronts Expansion Pass, and the ultimate edition of Cities: Skylines II.

Cities: Skylines II is available only on PC.
