Nostalgia Guaranteed: The Iconic Shooter Serious Sam 2 Receives a Major Anniversary Update
The famous shooter Serious Sam 2 celebrates its 20th anniversary!
Many gamers have nostalgic memories associated with this game, and the Croteam studio has released a massive free anniversary update.
What's Known
The developers did not change the gameplay mechanics and levels of Serious Sam 2, but did everything possible to make the 2005 shooter look relevant on modern computers.
Croteam has integrated the famous Renovation Mod into Serious Sam 2, which significantly enhances graphics and gameplay, adapted the interface for 4K displays, added a collection of digital items for the community (14 cards, 10 emojis, several backgrounds, and avatars), fonts no longer spread across large monitors, and several bugs were fixed.
Some levels now feature tracks that were not included in the 2005 version.
