On October 12, 2025, 41,666,455 people simultaneously logged into Steam, with 13,027,299 of them directly in games.
The gamer audience is steadily growing, and Steam offers the widest possible options for choosing and purchasing games, tracking trends, sales, and the latest releases, while also providing convenient features for user communication and interaction.
A great contribution to the record was made by the loud release of Battlefield 6, which on its first day showed an excellent start and attracted nearly 750 thousand players at its peak. Meanwhile, mastodons of free online games — Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 — ensure consistently high attendance for Steam.
