Insider reveals release date and cost of Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Nintendo Switch 2
Reputable insider billbil-kun decided to put an end to speculation about the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Nintendo Switch 2 and revealed full information about this release.
What is known
According to billbil-kun, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on the Japanese hybrid console on December 5, and the corresponding announcement will be made by Ubisoft on November 7.
Buyers will be offered a physical edition of Shadows as well, but it will be implemented under the Game-Key Card system — the cartridge will only contain a “key” for downloading all necessary data, requiring an internet connection.
The game will be sold in Europe for €50, and anyone interested can pre-order, but the start date for pre-orders is still unknown and will also be announced on November 7.
Let us recall, Assassin’s Creed Shadows was released in the spring of 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series and received mixed reviews.
