ChatGPT will soon be able to generate erotic content
CEO of OpenAI Sam Altman confirmed that the company plans to add support for "adult conversations," including erotica, in ChatGPT — after the launch of age verification, which will be implemented in December 2025. The head of the company calls it the principle of "treating adults as adults," but it seems more like an attempt to compete with Grok, which allows not only to create erotic correspondence but also to generate erotic videos (Spicy mode) and has a female anime-style avatar that flirts during conversations.
Previously, OpenAI hinted that it would allow third-party developers to create adult apps based on the ChatGPT API after implementing appropriate age verifications.
Changes not only about erotica
OpenAI also plans to make changes in the generation of responses in GPT-5. At one time, the company forcibly switched all users from model 4o to 5, which caused a wave of dissatisfaction. Users found that the new model generated not live responses, as it did in 4o, but more templated ones. Altman claims this was done due to concerns about potential abuse and lawsuits. Ultimately, the new model received a lot of restrictions and did not provide correct answers to questions that the previous model handled without problems. Now the company has worked on mistakes, introduced a system to detect deviant behavior, and is now ready to return to more lively communication.
It remains to be hoped that regarding flirting with the neural network, OpenAI also consulted with doctors, as such behavior may cause serious addiction.
