America highly values the contributions of Steve Jobs and next year his image will appear on a national $1 coin.

What is known

The US Mint announced that in 2026, as part of the American Innovation $1 Coin Program, which commemorates innovators from 50 states, Steve Jobs will represent California.

It is hard to overestimate Jobs' contribution to the technology industry not only in the US but also globally, from the first Apple computers that revolutionized graphical work to the iPhone, which forever changed the understanding of what a phone can be beyond just a communication tool.
