Lenovo introduced the Blade 7000P - a powerful and compact desktop gaming computer that can handle modern games, streaming, and resource-intensive tasks.

What is known

The Blade 7000P is built on the MoDT platform (Mobile on Desktop), which means the use of AMD mobile processors in a desktop system. The top configuration features the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D - a representative of the new Fire Range line based on Zen 5 architecture. A version with the Ryzen 9 8945HX (Zen 4) is also available. Despite its mobile origin, Lenovo increased the thermal package to 162 watts, providing performance comparable to full-fledged desktops.

The highlight of the Blade 7000P is its own Lenovo LEGION RX 9070 XT graphics card, based on AMD RDNA 3.5 architecture. It is exclusively available in this PC configuration and is not sold separately. This makes the Blade 7000P a unique offering for those who want to get the most out of the Legion ecosystem.

The cooling system includes direct contact with the processor, phase-change thermal paste, and a cooler with four heat pipes. The mesh front panel and rear fan provide stable airflow. The Blade 7000P case is compact, yet retains upgrade and additional module connectivity options.

The novelty supports two M.2 slots and two SATA drives, is equipped with an 850-watt modular 80 Plus Gold power supply, as well as HDMI 2.1, three DisplayPort 2.1 ports, USB-C, several USB-A ports, gigabit Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 6.

The Blade 7000P is sold with Windows 11 and supports customizable RGB and ARGB lighting effects.

Note that the global version of the Blade 7000P uses the Ryzen 7 8745HX (Zen 4).

Price:

  • The top option with Ryzen 9 9955HX3D and RTX 5070 Ti costs $2250, and the RX 9070 XT version is $2000.
  • Models based on the Ryzen 9 8945HX are available with three GPU options: RTX 5070 12GB for $1500, RTX 5060 Ti 16GB for $1300, and RTX 5060 8GB for $1100.
