Flagship Poco F8 Ultra has been certified and will be announced soon
The Poco F8 Ultra smartphone has been certified in the database of the Chinese regulator MIIT, so the announcement should take place in the coming weeks. It was previously expected to be a rebranded model of the Redmi K90 Pro, but after learning that Xiaomi is also preparing the Redmi K90 Pro Max model, it cannot be ruled out that the Poco F8 Ultra will be based on it. At the very least, the name suggests either this or that the K90 Pro Max will not leave China.
Although the certification itself did not shed light on the specific characteristics of the device, it can be expected that it is about a flagship smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a large battery of approximately 7000 mAh, a camera with a 1/1.31-inch sensor, and a 6.9-inch display.
While Poco usually announces its flagships in the spring, the certification hints at a possible release as early as November 2025.
