Samsung introduced the 27″ gaming monitor Odyssey OLED G50SF priced at only $370

Samsung has released a new 27″ gaming monitor Odyssey OLED G50SF, which is a budget version of the more expensive Odyssey OLED G60SF.

What is known

The new product is equipped with a 27″ QD-OLED panel with QHD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels), a refresh rate of up to 180 Hz, and a response time of 0.03 ms (GTG). Brightness reaches 200 cd/m² (minimum - 190 cd/m²) with a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. Color coverage: 99% DCI-P3.

The monitor supports HDR10 mode and AMD FreeSync and G-Sync smoothing technology, which are especially important for gamers. In addition, support for Glare-Free technology, Eye Saver Mode, Flicker Free, burn-in protection, and panel temperature control is declared. Viewing angles are 178 degrees horizontally and vertically.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G50SF has one DisplayPort 1.2 port, one HDMI 2.0 port, and a headphone jack. The monitor consumes 28 W, with a maximum power consumption of 78 W.

The stand supports screen tilt from -2 to 15 degrees and can be wall-mounted using a VESA mount.

The Odyssey OLED G50SF is currently only available in China, where the novelty costs only $370 (converted from yuan). It is expected that the monitor will go on sale in the global market at the end of 2025.
