Introducing Booster K1 — a mobile humanoid robot with 22 degrees of freedom for AI training
The Chinese startup Booster Robotics has unveiled a new model of humanoid robot named Booster K1.
What's known
Booster K1 is a robot about a meter tall and weighs 19.5 kg. It has 22 degrees of freedom, allowing for fairly fast and smooth movements — to see this, just watch the robot perform Michael Jackson's famous dance:
Meet Booster K1. This 1m, 19kg humanoid is your all-in-one platform for RD. With powerful computing and champion agility (Yes, it won RoboCup 2025!), it's ready for your projects in education, research, and exhibition. #Robotics #AI #EdTech #BoosterK1 pic.twitter.com/jKfVWJiIiK

The robot is equipped with an Nvidia Jetson Orin Nx single-chip system with computing power up to 117 TOPS, an RGBD camera, and a microphone, and its battery lasts for 40 minutes of activity.
Booster K1 serves as a platform for developing entry-level artificial intelligence training, which helps create applications for education, research, and similar tasks.
The price of K1 is $5000, significantly lower than most similar devices.
