The compact Oppo Find X9s will have features that are almost on par with the flagship Oppo Find X9
Oppo recently launched the Find X9 series of smartphones in China, with a global release of the X9 and X9 Pro models scheduled for October 28. Meanwhile, the company is actively working on the next new releases. A well-known Chinese insider, Digital Chat Station, shared key specifications of the yet-to-be-announced compact Oppo Find X9s model, which is set to be released alongside the Find X9s+ and the ultra-flagship Find X9 Ultra.
Known specifications of Find X9s:
- Flat 6.3-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, LTPO support, uniform bezels, and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner
- Dimensity 9500 Plus processor — an overclocked yet-to-be-announced version of the flagship Dimensity 9500
- A battery capacity of around 7000 mAh
- Three 50 MP cameras: main (large Sony IMX9-series sensor), ultra-wide, and telephoto
The probable announcement date for Oppo Find X9s, Find X9s+, and Find X9 Ultra is March or April 2026.
As seen, the Oppo Find X9s will actually have flagship features and become a "junior flagship." Meanwhile, the Ultra is expected to get the most impressive features, although nothing is known about them yet. It is likely to feature an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a telephoto camera with high-quality periscopic zoom, enabling significant optical magnification.
