The weekly giveaway in the Epic Games Store has started, offering just one game this time.

What's known

Until the evening of October 30, everyone can add the cozy retro-horror Fear the Spotlight by indie studio Cozy Game Pals to their library.

This horror game was released in 2024 and received extremely positive user reviews due to its clever stylization reminiscent of PlayStation 1 era games and an interesting story about two schoolgirls who held a seance in an abandoned school, after which one of them disappeared…

The game was also praised for the absence of tasteless and annoying jump scares and excessive violence.
