Yesterday, flagship smartphones Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max debuted in China, featuring excellent specifications and available at attractive prices.

It is known that gadgets from this brand are launched globally under the Poco name, and the new F8 series is not long to come.

What is known

Poco is preparing the F8 series for a global launch, and a fresh leak reveals the battery parameters of the upcoming models.

According to insider Kacper Skrzypek, who studied the HyperOS code, international versions of the smartphones will receive batteries with lower capacity.

According to Kacper Skrzypek, the Poco F8 Pro will receive a 6210 mAh battery, and the F8 Ultra will have a 6500 mAh battery, which is noticeably less than their Chinese counterparts Redmi K90 (7100 mAh) and K90 Pro Max (7500 mAh).

This is not the first time that global versions of Poco receive less capacious batteries: a similar situation occurred with the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra and the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro.

The imminent release of Poco F8 smartphones is also confirmed by the fact that at least the ultra-model has already been certified by NBTC.
