After the recent launch of Apple's iPhone Air, Huawei is preparing its own ultra-thin competitor — the Mate 70 Air. The device has already appeared on the China Telecom website, and new leaks reveal the release date.

According to popular blogger Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo, Huawei will officially present the Mate 70 Air by the end of October. Another insider, Panda is very bald, claims the launch will take place on Wednesday, October 29.

Features of Huawei Mate Air

The Mate 70 Air will have a body thickness of about 6 mm, making it one of Huawei's thinnest smartphones. At the same time, the company decided not to add eSIM, keeping support for physical SIM cards. This contrasts with the iPhone Air, which is only available in an eSIM variant — a decision that caused inconvenience among Chinese users.
