In addition to the flagship smartphone OnePlus 15 and the sub-flagship OnePlus Ace 6, the Chinese brand introduced a new model of its own tablet, which boasts excellent features at an affordable price.
What is known
The OnePlus Pad 2 has a 12.1″ screen with a resolution of 3000 × 2120 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and HDR support. Brightness reaches 900 nits.
The tablet runs on the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which will provide excellent performance in games and resource-intensive tasks, and an improved cooling system with an area of almost 46,600 mm² will help maintain maximum performance longer without overheating. The processor is complemented by 8/12/16 GB of RAM, and the storage capacity is 256/512 GB (depending on the selected model).
Prolonged autonomous work of the tablet is guaranteed by a 10,420 mAh battery with support for 67 W charging.
The tablet has a slim body with a thickness of only 5.99 mm and weighs 579 g.
The device comes with ColorOS 16 firmware with a number of new features based on Android 16.
The OnePlus Pad 2 is available in three configurations (price converted from yuan):
- 8/256 GB — $385
- 12/256 GB — $425
- 16/512 GB — $495.
In China, sales of the OnePlus Pad 2 will start on October 30. The global release date is still unknown.
