Digital shop GOG continues to expand its initiative to preserve classic games and has added 16 more cult titles to its catalogue.

What's known

The latest addition to the GOG Preservation Programme is notable for the fact that it includes two famous stealth action games - the first parts of Hitman and Splinter Cell. Also we can't ignore the famous horror Clive Barker's Undying and Tomb Raider GOTY - these games are timeless and will be of interest to gamers for a long time.

Joining the programme were:

  • Battle Chess 4000,
  • Bloodwych,
  • Call of Cthulhu: Prisoner of Ice,
  • Clive Barker's Undying,
  • Elvira: Mistress of the Dark,
  • Elvira II: The Jaws of Cerberus,
  • Heart of China,
  • Hitman: Codename 47,
  • North & South,
  • Nostradamus: The Last Prophecy,
  • Spore Collection,
  • Superhero League of Hoboken,

As a reminder, adding games to the GOG Preservation Programme means that the platform's staff takes care of support, improving compatibility with modern systems and controllers and fixing old bugs. All of them are available without DRM protection and can be downloaded on any media.
