Threads reached 150 million active users per day
The number of people using the Threads app from Meta daily has increased to 150 million. This was reported by Mark Zuckerberg in the company's quarterly report.
What is known
In August, Meta noted that Threads has over 400 million monthly users. Zuckerberg said that Threads is "on its way to leading its category" and that the time users spend on the app has increased by 10%. He attributed this to changes in the AI-based recommendation system.

Instagram head Adam Mosseri added that Meta is testing new personalization settings for the algorithm. They will allow users to independently influence which posts Threads shows them. A similar feature is already being tested on Instagram.
Meta is also expanding advertising in Threads. The company's CFO Susan Li noted that advertising is already operating worldwide. The company is launching new formats, including video ads, and adheres to a standard strategy of gradually improving the effectiveness of advertising tools.
