Amazon has announced the start of sales for the smart speakers Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio, which were introduced last month. Both devices are specifically designed for Alexa+, the new generation of Amazon's voice assistant, which supports more realistic dialogues, better understands context, and performs everyday tasks more efficiently.

What is known

The speakers operate on new AZ3 and AZ3 Pro processors. They feature a built-in AI accelerator that processes data faster and reduces reliance on cloud processing.

Echo Dot Max uses the AZ3 processor. It better recognizes voice and adapts sound depending on the room. Echo Studio is equipped with AZ3 Pro, which supports more complex speech and sound processing.

The devices also feature the Omnisense sensor system, which analyzes movement, sound, Wi-Fi signals, and other data to respond to changes in the room, such as starting a routine or reminding about open doors. Echo Dot Max has a new acoustic system and a larger body for improved sound. Echo Studio has become smaller in size but supports surround sound and Dolby Atmos.

Both speakers can be connected to Fire TV to create a home theater. The Echo Dot Max costs $100, Echo Studio - $220.
