OpenAI continues to develop its AI infrastructure. After signing multi-billion dollar deals with NVIDIA, Broadcom, AMD and revising Microsoft and OpenAI have signed a new long-term agreement: the partnership reaches a new level, the AI giant announced a contract with Amazon.

What is known

OpenAI signed a partnership agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS), valued at $38 billion.

Under the agreement, OpenAI will use AWS's cloud infrastructure to train and deploy its AI models. Amazon will provide the company with scalable computing power, including Amazon EC2 UltraServers with hundreds of thousands of chips. This will allow Sam Altman's company to speed up work with large language models and improve performance in their training.

OpenAI plans to complete the project with Amazon by the end of 2026, with the possibility of further expansion in 2027 and subsequent years.
