The Sandbar company, founded by former Meta and CTRL-Labs employees, has introduced the smart ring Stream Ring with unusual features.

What is known

Stream Ring is a gadget that actively uses AI and is primarily designed for recording voice notes without a smartphone or voice recorder, moreover, the ring recognizes even the user's whisper in a noisy environment. The gadget records what is said and deciphers phrases into text in a special application.

The files are securely protected against hacking, and the microphone, as stated, does not constantly listen to the user.

Another feature of Stream Ring is the “inner voice” option — a chatbot that speaks in the user's voice, and it is supposed to help a person focus on their thoughts.

Additionally, there is the option to control music on a smartphone using the ring's touch panel.

The developers claim that Stream Ring can operate on a single charge all day.

Of course, Sandbar will offer users a paid Pro subscription that removes the limit on interaction with the chatbot and grants access to early features. Without a subscription, you can record notes in unlimited quantities and interact with the bot a limited number of times.

A three-month subscription is offered for pre-ordering the Stream Ring, which can be extended for $10 per month.

Stream Ring deliveries are scheduled for the summer of 2026. The gadget price starts at $249.
