Insider: Samsung Galaxy S26 Will Be Slightly Thinner Than Its Predecessor and Will Receive Full Qi2 Wireless Charging Support

New information has emerged online about the Galaxy S26 — the next line of flagship smartphones from Samsung.

What is known

The authoritative insider Ice Universe published a schematic image of the base model Galaxy S26 and accompanied it with a brief comment that reveals the thickness of the device — 6.9 mm. Thus, the new smartphone will be 0.3 mm thinner than the Galaxy S25.

The presented sketch also confirmed that Samsung will return to the single capsule-shaped camera block, which was recently revealed thanks to a leak of images of The protective case revealed all the design secrets of the Galaxy S26 — Samsung will return to the familiar camera module.

It should also be noted that the Galaxy S26 will become the first Samsung smartphone with full support for Qi2 wireless charging technology, as indicated by the magnetic ring in the middle of the body — previously, this protocol was available to Galaxy S25 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 users only with a special magnetic case.

According to previous leaks, the smartphone will feature a 6.27″ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It will be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or the Exynos 2600 chipset, depending on the region.

The camera block will include sensors of 50, 12, and 10 MP. The battery capacity will be 4300 mAh, supporting charging up to 45W.

Insider: The flagship Samsung Galaxy S26 series presentation will take place at the end of February 2026, the Galaxy Unpacked event featuring the Galaxy S26 line will be held on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco, but no official information has been released yet.
