World premiere of Porsche Cayenne Electric on November 19
Porsche has announced the presentation of the first electric Cayenne. The new Cayenne Electric will debut at a digital presentation on November 19, and will appear live on November 22 at the Icons of Porsche festival in Dubai.
What is known
The electric SUV will go on sale in early 2026. The Cayenne Electric will become the brand's third mass-produced electric vehicle and the second SUV with this type of powertrain after the Macan Electric. Meanwhile, the regular third-generation Cayenne with internal combustion engines will be sold in parallel.
The new electric car has an 800-volt architecture and is based on the Premium Platform Electric of the parent company Volkswagen Group. This platform is also used in the Porsche Macan Electric and Audi Q6 E-tron.

The Cayenne Electric will noticeably differ from its internal combustion engine counterpart: with a more streamlined front end, frameless windows, and different door handles. The length of the Cayenne Electric is 4979 mm, which is 49 mm longer than the previous generation vehicle. The wheelbase is also known — 3020 mm (35 mm more than the current Cayenne).
The Cayenne Electric received two permanent magnet synchronous motors. Electrical energy is supplied from a 108 kWh battery pack. The range is expected to exceed 600 km. The maximum charging power reaches 400 kW. This means that replenishing from 10% to 80% will take only 16 minutes. In addition, wireless charging of the electric vehicle's traction battery will be available for the first time for Porsche.
Inside the new Cayenne, there will also be the largest set of displays of all Porsche production models, including a curved central touchscreen.
