Leica introduced Cine Play 1 Plus — a premium 4K projector with an image up to 300 inches and support for HDR10+
The company Leica has expanded its range of home projectors and introduced the Cine Play 1 Plus — an updated model with improved brightness, color rendering, and support for modern image and sound standards.
What is known
Leica Cine Play 1 Plus is a laser 4K projector capable of creating an image with a diagonal from 65 to 300 inches. It is equipped with an RGB laser light source with a claimed lifespan of 25,000 hours, which provides brightness of 3500 lumens (CVIA) and covers 110% of the BT.2020 color space.

- resolution: 4K UHD;
- brightness: 3500 CVIA lumens;
- lens: Leica Summicron with zoom and projection ratio from 0.9:1 to 1.5:1;
- color rendering: BT.2020, 110% coverage;
- support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ protocols;
- sound: DTS Virtual:X, built-in stereo speakers 2×10 W;
- processor: MediaTek MT9655.
The premium model projector from Leica supports a low latency gaming mode.
Leica Cine Play 1 Plus received an updated body with an aluminum design and a blue front panel. The device can be mounted on a built-in stand or on an additional gimbal stand for flexible projection angle adjustment.
The projector is already available in China at a price of about $1670. It is expected that the model will appear on international markets in the coming months.
