The Samsung Galaxy S26 smartphone series will feature an update in the wireless charging system. According to a leak published by insider Jukanlosreve, for the first time in six years, the company will offer power: the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus will receive 20W support, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra will get 25W.
What is known
The current wireless charging speed in Samsung smartphones is 15W, starting with the Galaxy S20 model. The new figures are expected to reduce charging time by approximately 40% compared to the previous standard. Despite Chinese competitors already offering 50W and more, the improvement is still noticeable.
Although this information is missing from Jukanlosreve's materials, informant Ice Universe reports that the company has completed work on the display sizes and bodies of the new devices. The Galaxy S26 will have a 6.3-inch screen, dimensions: 149.4×71.5×6.9mm. The S26 Plus model will remain with a 6.7-inch display and dimensions of 158.4×75.8×7.3mm. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will get a 6.9-inch screen and a body measuring 163.6×78.1×7.8mm.
Meanwhile, information has emerged that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will exclusively operate on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite processor.
