Official: Horror series "Alien: Earth" will get a second season
In August, the horror series "Alien: Earth" premiered on FX, Hulu, and Disney+ from "Fargo" creator Noah Hawley and franchise creator Ridley Scott as lead screenwriter.
The series was warmly received by the audience, and its ending clearly suggested a continuation, and now we know it will definitely happen.
What is known
Showrunner Noah Hawley announced that filming of the second season will begin in London in 2026.
Of course, Hawley did not reveal any details, but there is no doubt he will find a way to surprise the audience again this time.
Recall that the events of the first season "Alien: Earth" take place in 2120 in parallel with the plot of the film Prometheus. Creatures from deep space end up on our planet as a result of a crash of a research spacecraft that was transporting several Xenomorphs. As always, humans could think of nothing smarter than conducting scientific experiments in secret laboratories, which, of course, led to nothing good, and the creatures broke free.
