Oppo presented Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro — compact sub-flagships with 200MP cameras, batteries over 6000mAh, and IP69 protection
Oppo announced new mid-range smartphones in China — Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro. The main feature of both models is the 200MP main camera with optical stabilization, making the devices some of the most advanced in the Reno lineup in terms of mobile photography. The new models also received water and dust protection according to the IP69 standard, which is rare even in flagship gadgets.
What is known
Oppo Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset and are equipped with displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 3600 nits. However, Reno 15 features a 6.32” OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, while the Pro version has a 6.78” AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772×1272 pixels.
Both new models offer an excellent camera set:
- main module — 200MP (F/1.8, EFL 24mm);
- periscope — 50MP (3.5x optical zoom, F/2.8, EFL 80mm);
- ultra-wide sensor — 50MP;
- front camera — 50MP with autofocus.
The smartphones have the following batteries:
- Reno 15 — 6200mAh, wired charging up to 80W;
- Reno 15 Pro — 6500mAh with support for fast charging 80W and wireless 50W.
The new models come with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are already available for purchase in China.
