Google has added a new feature to the Google Calendar service: users can now create time blocks for completing specific tasks. This update allows not only to fix events in the calendar but also to plan time for working on specific tasks.

What is known

When creating such a block, you can add a task description as well as set "Do Not Disturb" parameters and visibility. This approach provides more opportunities in time management, especially for those who actively use the calendar as a planning tool.

The feature began appearing on domains with Rapid Release mode at the beginning of November. For users with the standard domain type, its rollout will begin on December 1st. After the deployment is complete, the feature will be available by default for all users, both for corporate Google Workspace customers and personal account holders.
