Professional 4K projector for escape rooms, simulators, and themed installations from BenQ introduced in Europe

BenQ introduced the professional 4K projector BR9708 in Europe, aimed at use in theme parks, escape rooms, simulators, and other immersive spaces. The device made its debut at the IAAPA Expo 2025 and is positioned as an affordable solution with cinematic image quality.
What's known
The BR9708 is specially created for dark rooms and hyper-realistic attractions where color accuracy and high contrast are important. It is designed to replace outdated lamp models with low contrast that are still often used in projection mapping and simulators.
Main features of BenQ BR9708:
- Resolution: 4K UHD — 8.3 million pixels;
- Color gamut: 100% DCI-P3;
- Contrast: 1200:1 — deep blacks without filters and complex calibration;
- Brightness: up to 2600 ANSI lumens (laser light source);
- Calibration: factory 7-point setup with Delta E < 2 — for precise color matching between multiple projectors;
- Support for multi-screen installations: automatic color, gamma, and alignment setup.
The BenQ BR9708 has an interchangeable lens that is easy to install.
The image is projected in a 16:9 format, and the contrast in dynamic mode reaches 3,000,000:1.
