Ubisoft has released the promised major free expansion Valley of Memory for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, created in collaboration with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.

What is known

The expansion is now available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, offering about six hours of new content.

The DLC events unfold in a specially created location — the AlUla oasis located in modern-day Saudi Arabia, where the protagonist of Mirage, Basim, goes in search of his father. The location is divided into two large regions, each offering gamers new tasks within a special storyline, which the developers claim they approached with maximum responsibility and historical accuracy.

Valley of Memory also includes additional quests and side activities.

Major innovations have also appeared in the main game: the parkour mechanics have been enriched with new possibilities, Basim’s tools can be upgraded to the third level, and all completed missions can be replayed to receive new rewards. Additionally, the developers have added two extra difficulty levels: Hardened Assassin and Ultimate Assassin.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft has also fixed a number of bugs in Assassin’s Creed Mirage and claims that now is the perfect moment to get acquainted with the game, which was released in 2023 and received mixed reviews.
