Hyundai has introduced a carbon kit for 7,500 dollars for the Ioniq 6 N
Hyundai has introduced a new N Performance Parts package for the electric sedan Ioniq 6 N. The package feature is a carbon aerodynamic body kit that includes a large wing in the style of Porsche 911 GT3, a massive splitter, side skirts, and an extended diffuser.
What is known
The enlarged carbon fiber rear wing, which can also be ordered separately, has a two-layer design and can be adjusted in three positions: 8°, 0° and -8°. Depending on the angle of inclination it generates downforce from 265 to 305 kg at a speed of 257 km/h. A deflector installed in the lower part of the car adds another 16 kilograms of downforce at maximum speed.
In addition to the aerodynamic elements, the package includes 20-inch forged wheels with 12 spokes, painted in black or white. They reduce the unsprung mass by 1.5 kg compared to standard aerodynamic wheels of the same size.
The package also includes 20-inch forged wheels with 12 spokes, available in black or white, lightened by 1.5 kg compared to the standard ones. Car owners can add racing stripes, a Sabelt towing strap, carbon hubcaps, and black wheel nuts.
In the interior, the updates include a Pasubio leather-wrapped steering wheel, suede armrests, carbon door sill trims, and carpets with the N Performance logo. The company also offers Ferodo brake pads designed for both city streets and racing.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 N is equipped with two electric motors with a total output of 641 hp and a torque of 770 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. As with the N series, the electric car can simulate gear shifts and exhaust sound, and it also has an N Drift mode.
The cost of the full aerodynamic package is 11 million won (approximately $7,500), while a single wing costs 4.9 million won ($3,400). The package is currently available in Korea, and later it will be possible to order it in other markets.
