Intuit signed an agreement with OpenAI to integrate its financial services into ChatGPT
Intuit has signed an agreement with OpenAI to integrate its financial services TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and MailChimp into ChatGPT. Now users will be able to access these applications through the chatbot, using text queries for financial management.
What is known
According to Intuit, hundreds of millions of people weekly make finance-related inquiries in ChatGPT. Within the new integration, users can explore credit card and mortgage offers, receive personalized advice based on their spending, calculate tax refunds, and schedule meetings with AI-based tax consultants.
For business users, the income analytics function is available, as well as the creation of targeted marketing campaigns and automatic generation of bill payment reminders.
The agreement also includes the expansion of OpenAI models' use in Intuit products. Since 2023, the company has been implementing its AI assistant, which operates within its applications.
Previously, OpenAI acquired the ROI platform, which provides investment advice through an embedded chatbot.
