What is known
The company reported that an event dedicated to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 will take place on November 26 in China.
Previously, Qualcomm confirmed that the 8th generation Snapdragon Gen 5 is built using the 3nm process and equipped with its own Oryon cores. The main core frequency is 3.8 GHz, and the performance cores are 3.32 GHz.
According to rumors, the integrated graphics will use the Adreno 840 with a frequency of 1.2 GHz.
It is known that in AnTuTu tests the processor scores more than 3.3 million points, and in Geekbench 6 about 3000 in single-core and 10,000 points in multi-core tests — excellent performance for an affordable chip.
