Apple introduced a new accessory for iPhone — the Hikawa Phone Grip Stand, designed for people with disabilities.

What is known

The accessory was created in collaboration with designer Bailey Hikawa and is timed to the 40th anniversary of the company's accessibility initiative.

The holder attaches to the iPhone via MagSafe and can be used as a convenient stand — both vertically and horizontally. Its body is made of premium quality soft silicone in two exclusive colors: bright Chartreuse and recycled Crater.

The main feature of the novelty is attention to people with limited motor skills, muscle weakness, or tremors. In the development of the holder, Bailey Hikawa communicated with users to learn about their preferences and consider different ways of holding the smartphone to reduce strain on the hands.

The accessory is already available in a limited edition for $70.
