According to exclusive data from Insider Gaming, the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag remake will definitely be released in the current financial year — by March 31, 2026. Most likely, Ubisoft plans to release the updated version of the 2013 game in the week starting March 23. Moreover, a published Ubisoft report mentioned a certain release planned for the second half of the current financial year.
According to the latest information, the main storyline of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be expanded in the remake, the gameplay will feature more RPG elements, moving between sea and land will be seamless and won’t be accompanied by a loading screen, but the size of the open world will remain the same, although there will be more additional activities in certain locations.
However, the most significant change is that Ubisoft will completely remove all episodes set in modern-day Abstergo Corporation offices. Most gamers consider them boring, consisting of wandering through workspaces, solving simple puzzles, and searching for scattered barcodes.
