The compact PC Minisforum MS‑02 Ultra with 256 GB RAM, dual graphics card support, and a great price has entered the global market
The Chinese company Minisforum has launched the flagship compact desktop PC MS‑02 Ultra on the global market, which previously received the CES Innovation Awards 2026 and claims to be the most powerful device in its class.
What is known
Minisforum positions the MS‑02 Ultra as a mini-workstation for engineers, content creators, and AI developers.
The MS‑02 Ultra is housed in a case with a volume of only 4.8 liters, yet inside hides performance levels of full-size workstations. The new product is available in versions with Intel Core Ultra 5 235HX processors (14 cores), Core Ultra 7 275HX (24 cores), and the top Core Ultra 9 285HX (24 cores, including 8 performance cores and 16 efficient cores, as well as a built-in NPU for artificial intelligence tasks).
The device supports up to 256 GB of DDR5-4800 ECC RAM and Intel vPro features, making it suitable for the most resource-intensive tasks that require significant computing power.
The list of interfaces includes two 25 GbE ports, 10 GbE, and 2.5 GbE, as well as wireless standards Wi‑Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
For data storage, up to four M.2 SSDs are provided, and the expansion system includes three PCIe slots, including PCIe 5.0 x16 for a discrete graphics card. The MS‑02 Ultra is capable of working with two full-size GPUs and also supports external graphics accelerators via USB4 V2.
Processor power consumption reaches 140 W, graphics cards — up to 140 W, while the built-in power supply is rated at 350 W. The device weighs about 3.45 kg without a graphics adapter.
