Qualcomm implements AirDrop support on all devices with Snapdragon chipsets
A few days ago Pixel 10 can now share files with iPhone via AirDrop, but Google forgot to ask Apple for permission the ability to share files with Apple gadgets via AirDrop, and most likely, it was done without Apple's consent.
Another company has announced the implementation of a similar option, but now it concerns a wider range of devices.
What is known
One of the largest chip makers — Qualcomm — announced that soon all smartphones using Snapdragon processors will receive AirDrop support, and with Quick Share, their users can transfer data to iPhones and other Apple devices without using messengers and cloud storage.
Qualcomm hasn't disclosed the launch timing of the new feature and hasn't provided its technical details, but it's likely that, like Google, the company will resort to reverse engineering.
Can't wait for people to use this once enabled on Snapdragon in the near future. https://t.co/IUvT23p5pq
