New strategy by Sony and big ambitions of Kojima Productions studio left no doubt that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which was released in June and is a PlayStation 5 title, will soon be released on PC. And new information indicates that this will happen faster than many gamers expect.

What is known

An age rating for the yet-to-be-announced PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has been discovered on the website of the American rating board ESRB.

Like on PS5, the game is not recommended for persons under 17 years old, as it contains blood, violence, partial nudity, and strong language.

Notably, Sony Interactive Entertainment is listed as the publisher, not 505 Games, which took on the release of the PC version of Death Stranding (1) Director's Cut in 2021.

Usually, age ratings are assigned shortly before the official announcement, so it cannot be ruled out that on December 11 at The Game Awards 2025, the PC version of Death Stranding 2 may be presented, but for now, this is just speculation.
