Xiaomi has released a new 67W charger set with third-generation GaN technology in China. The set includes an adapter with three ports (2×USB-C and 1×USB-A) and a 1.5-meter USB-C – USB-C cable supporting up to 6A current. The price is 129 yuan, approximately equal to 18 US dollars.

What is known

The device supports intelligent power distribution and provides up to 67W through any of the ports. Both USB-C ports deliver up to 67W, while USB-A delivers up to 22.5W. The charger is compatible with major standards PD 3.0, PPS, QC 2.0, QC 3.0, as well as with Xiaomi's proprietary protocols.

The charger can fully charge the Xiaomi 13 smartphone in about 38 minutes. The iPhone 14 Pro Max will receive 55 percent charge in about half an hour. It also supports laptop charging at 65W, including the Xiaomi Book Pro 16 2022 and newer MacBook models.

The internal construction of the adapter is optimized for better heat dissipation and stability. Xiaomi states that the operating temperature of the device is up to 11 percent lower than state standards. In the case of simultaneous connection of several devices, the charger distributes power automatically, prioritizing the laptop. For example, in dual-port mode, the distribution is 45 and 22.5W, and in three-port mode, it is 45, 12, and 10W.

The casing is made of V0-class fireproof material. A folding plug is provided at a 90-degree angle along with built-in protections against overvoltage, overheating, short circuit, and static discharges. The device is certified according to the Chinese 3C standard.
