Photo Flagship Honor Magic 8 Pro with 200 MP Main Sensor and Ultra-Bright OLED Screen Debuts on Global Market
The global presentation of the flagship smartphone Honor Magic8 Pro, which debuted in China in mid-October and garnered huge interest among camera phone enthusiasts, has taken place.
The presentation took place in Malaysia, and the smartphone is already available for purchase in that country; it will soon appear in Europe and other markets.
What is known
The global version of Honor Magic 8 Pro has the same 6.71" OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6000 nits, along with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset from Qualcomm. Special attention is drawn to its excellent set of cameras: 200, 50, and 50 MP with a maximum zoom of 100x. The body of the Honor Magic8 Pro is protected against water and dust on the IP69K standard.
The international model differs from the Chinese version only by having a smaller battery capacity: 7100 mAh instead of 7200 mAh. Support for 100W wired and 80W wireless charging is provided.
The smartphone comes with the MagicOS 10 shell based on Android 16.
Only the Pro model of Honor Magic 8 will be presented on the international market in two memory configurations: 2/512 GB and 16 GB/1 TB. The cost of Honor Magic 8 Pro is $1110 and $1260 for the respective models, and prices in Europe are unlikely to differ significantly.
