Škoda Auto has released the 100,000th fully electric compact crossover Elroq since the start of production of the model this year. The anniversary car is the Elroq RS in Mamba Green color.

What is known

Elroq became the first production model in the new Škoda Modern Solid corporate style. It is assembled on a "flexible line" alongside the Enyaq and Octavia on the MQB platform. This allows the manufacturer to produce both electric and gasoline models on the same assembly line, quickly responding to customer demand.

Elroq is popular with customers and experts: in the first three quarters of 2025, it ranked second among the best-selling electric vehicles in Europe. The model has received numerous international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, and was recently recognized as the "German Car of 2026."

A jury of 40 leading German and international journalists first selected five class winners from 80 new cars, and then Elroq beat four finalists in the decisive round. The model was particularly praised for its quality and environmental friendliness, as well as for its price-to-feature ratio, handling, and powertrain.

In the first three quarters of 2025, Škoda Auto delivered almost 120,000 electric vehicles worldwide. In Europe, both models entered the Top 10 electric cars: Elroq in second place, Enyaq in sixth. Elroq became the best-selling electric vehicle in the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Slovakia, and ranks among the top three in Austria, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

In Germany, Škoda's largest market, Elroq became the best-selling electric vehicle in October with 3,320 registrations. It also led sales among all electric cars in Europe in April, July, and October.
