The Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment officially confirmed several years ago that it is working on Control 2 — a sequel to the sensational 2019 action game, which remains one of the most technologically advanced games.

Remedy has revealed progress on the Max Payne 1&2 remake, Control 2 and a shooter codenamed Condor, but nothing else indicates its existence: not a single trailer has been shown. But soon everything may change.

What is known

The authoritative portal MP1st discovered that on November 27, the company Nordia Attorneys at Law, which previously represented Remedy, registered a new trademark CONTROL Resonant. Now analysts and gamers are guessing what is hidden under this name…

Control Resonant trademark by Remedy Entertainment

It is most likely that this is the very Control 2, which will continue the story of Jesse Faden. However, given the love of Remedy's creative director Sam Lake for unusual experiments with media formats, it cannot be ruled out that CONTROL Resonant, for example, is a TV series.

Given the proximity of The Game Awards 2025 ceremony, which will be held on December 11 in Los Angeles, there is a strong probability that it is at this show that CONTROL Resonant will be presented, whatever it may be.
