Knowledge of the enemy is the key to victory: Elden Ring Nightreign authors showcase gameplay as the new character Scholar from The Forsaken Hollows expansion

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware studio have released another trailer featuring the character "Scholar", who will appear in the cooperative game Elden Ring Nightreign with the release of The Forsaken Hollows expansion.

What is known

Last time the developers made a The creators of Elden Ring Nightreign unveiled a trailer for the new character Scholar from The Forsaken Hollows expansion, and now they have shown his gameplay features.

Scholar's passive ability enhances the effects of all consumables used by the team, and his active skills correspond to his intellectual level. This character is better not to be in the center of the battle but studies enemies, and the longer he does this, the stronger the negative effects that Scholar inflicts on them become.

He also has the power to restore the health of one of his allies.

Aesthetically, the Scholar somewhat resembles characters from another iconic game by Japanese developers — Bloodborne, and his magical abilities have much in common with the spells from the hardcore 2015 action game.

When to expect

The Forsaken Hollows expansion will be released on December 4 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, and besides Scholar, it will add another character — Undertaker.
