Casio A158 WEM watches with new metal strap to appear in Europe
Two new models of digital watches, Casio A158 WEM 3 and A158 WEM 7, will soon appear in Europe. After a recent release in Japan, they have already appeared on the brand's official websites in the Netherlands, Germany, and Spain.
What's known
Both versions retain the traditional design of the A158 series, but received an update in the form of a braided stainless steel bracelet.
The bodies of the models are made of silver resin with chrome plating, which harmoniously matches the metal strap. The A158 WEM 3 has a dark green dial, while the A158 WEM 7 has a light gray one. Functionally, the watches offer standard Casio features. This includes a stopwatch with an accuracy of one-hundredth of a second, a daily alarm, hourly signals, an automatic calendar, and LED lighting for convenience in the dark. Time can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour format, and the screen also shows the date and day of the week.
A CR2016 battery provides approximately seven years of operation. In European online stores, these models cost 60 euros. There is no exact sales start date yet.
